Poper

Located in the heart of Corrales, the Poper Residence was designed for a growing family who came to us with a clear vision for their future home. From the onset, our clients brought strong ideas for layout and style, and through a highly collaborative process we transformed those early concepts into a refined design and a full set of construction documents.

The home is carefully oriented to maximize comfort and views. A covered patio and courtyard open to the east, protecting the outdoor living areas from the intense evening sun, while framing views to the Sandia Mountains beyond. At the center of the home, the living room, dining area, and kitchen connect seamlessly to the patio through expansive sliding glass doors, creating a fluid relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces.

The layout is organized into distinct wings: two children’s bedrooms and baths on one side, a guest suite near the entry, and a private primary suite with office, laundry, and stair access on the opposite end. Above, the second level serves as a dedicated game room for the kids, positioned far enough from the main living areas to give both children and adults their own sense of retreat.

The finished home blends a touch of modern farmhouse with bright, airy finishes, accented by steel details and polished concrete floors. The result is a residence that feels both rustic and refined, perfectly aligned with the character and charm of Corrales.
