The Roma Lofts were conceived as a thoughtful revitalization project of a corner lot in downtown Albuquerque. The primary objective was to replace a small, deteriorating residence with a contemporary duplex that would help enhance the surrounding urban fabric. The site’s narrow footprint and existing setback constraints presented a unique design challenge, requiring a highly efficient and intentional approach to planning.

Within these parameters, the project successfully accommodates the required parking while delivering two light-filled rental units. Each unit features two bedrooms, an open-concept living area, and a dedicated covered parking space. Clean, modern interior finishes are complemented by a carefully considered exterior palette, resulting in a design that is both distinctive and well-integrated into the neighborhood’s context.

The completed Roma Lofts breathe new life into the site, transforming it into a modern, functional residential development that contributes positively to the evolving downtown Albuquerque streetscape.
